Wrestling is the vehicle.
The people are the story.

For fifteen years, Jason V chased a dream that never came with a guarantee, a retirement plan, or much in the way of common sense.

It took him from backyards and makeshift rings to the independent wrestling circuit, where he shared locker rooms with some unforgettable characters, built friendships that lasted beyond the business, and discovered that the line between playing a character and becoming one can be dangerously thin.

There were championships, rivalries, unlikely victories, spectacular failures, and enough backstage chaos to fill a book of its own. There were people who helped him along the way, people he helped build into something greater, and people who left a mark that had nothing to do with wrestling.

Behind Jason V was Brian Henderson. A friend. A promoter. A storyteller. A man who spent years helping other people find their place while struggling to figure out his own. Living a life with the bumpers up and still getting gutter balls.

When the wrestling world he helped build began to fall apart, the losses went far beyond the ring. And when the dust finally settled, Brian was left with a question he had spent much of his life avoiding.

Who was he without Jason V?

Jason V: Successful Failure is a funny, uncomfortable, occasionally ridiculous, and deeply personal account of chasing a dream, the people you meet along the way, and what happens when the thing that gave your life meaning becomes the thing you have to leave behind.

Was it a success? Was it a failure?

You decide.
